Nandini Voice for the Deprived, a Chennai-based Non-Governmental Organisation will conduct an all-India essay writing competition for college students, announced its trustee N. S. Venkataraman in a release here on Wednesday.
The topic of the essay will be “How Gandhiji would have viewed Anna Hazare’s anti-corruption movement?” and is open to all college students. This essay competition will be organised to commemorate the forthcoming Gandhi Jayanthi, said the trustee. This will give an opportunity to students to express their views on how Gandhiji would have viewed Anna Hazare’s anti-corruption movement, he opined. Ten of the best essays will be selected and prizes awarded in this competition. The essay should be of 1,500 words and reach the NGO before August 30.
