A free medical camp was organised by Rite Aid + Clinic and Sirisha Diagnostics at Gollapudi. Indian Medical Association secretary Vellanki Sridevi, orthopaedic specialist G.Srinivas and general physician Vemula Ramalingeswara Rao screened over 300 patients who attended the camp. Bharatiya Janata Party state secretariat member Chigurupati Suresh inaugurated the camp that was conducted in the NRI Indian Springs School premises.
Lauding the efforts of the organisers Mr Suresh said that such camps were the need of the day. He appreciated the way the camp was organised and the good response to it. He appealed to the organisers to continue conducting such free medical camps and promised to extend all the support possible.
Special arrangements were made for patients who came to the camp from long distances. Medication prescribed by the specialists was distributed free by Chigurupati Sirisha.
