Police suspect it to be hit-and-run case

HYDERABAD: Two unidentified youngsters, aged about 25, were found lying dead on the road with bleeding injuries at Bandlaguda Crossroads in the old city on Friday night.

A damaged Pulsar motorbike was also found at the spot.

The police suspect that an unidentified vehicle would have hit the two youngsters or they fell off the bike after it skidded off the road.

Robbery at petrol pump

Two petrol bunk employees were robbed of Rs 2.5 lakh by a gang of four, including a woman, near Om Book Centre in Petbasheerabad on Friday night. The petrol bunk manager K.Venkata Raju and his assistant were going to hand over the day’s collection of 2.5 lakh to their owner Jayaprakash in Ramaraju Nagar when two motorcycle-borne youths intercepted them around 9 p.m. Even as they picked up an argument with the petrol pump workers another youngster and a woman came on another bike, hurled chilli powder at them, snatched the cash bag and sped away.
