VIJAYAWADA: `Meet-MODUS 2006,' an inter-collegiate cultural and literary festival, organised by the PG department of commerce of Maris Stella College served as a fitting platform for post-graduate students of different colleges to unleash their creative potential on Monday.

Students of MBA, MCom, MSc and other courses participated enthusiastically in the competitions and used the opportunity to test their talents. Personality contest, dance competition, quiz and singing competition saw active participation by the students, who came from Andhra Loyola College, P.B. Siddhartha College of Arts and Sciences, ICFAI National College, Montessori and other colleges in and outside the city.

Priya Jain, who was the student coordinator of the event, said that the festival was aimed at giving an opportunity for students to explore their creative energies. Participants displayed their acumen and right attitude in the personality contest, which was the special attraction. The dynamic youth spared no thought in giving straight answers to probing questions posed by the judges. One student was bold enough to say that life is a beautiful gift and that the beauty of both worlds is equally important.
