Award for MCH
The Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad's e-governance project - 'Hyderabad First' has bagged the 'Golden Icon National Award 2005' for exemplary initiatives in e-governance by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Government of India. MCH Commissioner Sanjay Jaju will receive the award at the ninth national conference on e-governance to be held at Kochi, Kerala, from February 2-4.
The EAMCET fee reportedly is likely to be reduced by Rs.50 this year. A final decision will be taken at the EAMCET committee meeting, which will be held on February 2. The existing price of the application for the common entrance test for engineering and medical courses in the State is Rs.300.
Sale of LPCET
The sale of LPCET 2006 application forms will begin on Saturday through all the eSeva centres in the State. The test will be held on February 26.
Application form, costing Rs.150, will be made available through eSeva centres. The last date for receipt of applications is February 13, according to an official release.
The Integrated Rehabilitation Services for the Disabled (IRSD), a service organisation for the mentally challenged and disabled, has launched an ambulance service.
Anjan Kumar Yadav, MP, launched the services under the MPLADS by handing over the key of a Maruthi Omni to Ramanjaneyulu of the IRSD at a function on Friday. Mr. Yadav lauded the services rendered by the organisation.
