HYDERABAD: The Board of Intermediate (BIE) made necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of Intermediate examinations in the city, slated to be held from March 4 to 24 between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., said C. Usha, Regional Inspection Officer, Hyderabad district.
There are 115 exam centres in the city and 46 of them were earmarked for girl students, she said here on Monday. RTC has agreed to operate more buses in morning hours on exam days, medical kits and police protection will be arranged mat each centre, she informed.
About 58,303 students of Intermediate first year, 51,468 of second year, 16,472 private candidates and 4,009 and 3,670 students of first and second years of vocational courses are expected to attend the exams.
The students were advised to check the exactness of details in their hall tickets, make sure of the location of exam centre a day before, seek a new OMR sheet in case of any mistakes done while filling it; and to check the question paper as there will be a new and old versions in coming exams.
In Ranga Reddy district, about 1,57,134 students will attend the exams at 158 centres, said A. Mallaih, Regional Inspection Officer of Ranga Reddy district.
