System being experimented first time in State

KURNOOL: Minister for Civil Supplies Kasu Venkata Krishna Reddy inaugurated the online LPG refill booking system here on Saturday.

The system was being experimented first time in the State.

Collector Mukesh Kumar Meena, Joint Collector P. Venkatrami Reddy and Mayor S. Raghurami Reddy were present.


The LPG consumers of Kurnool city could book their gas online from Saturday. The online booking was available both in SMS and internet mode.

The SMS booking could be done on mobile numbers -- 9491846482 and 9491846483. The callers should feed the codes of agency and individual consumer number.

Booking mode

The online booking in the internet mode could be done by visiting http://kurnool.ap.nic.in/gas. The caller should feed the information of the individual identity such as consumer number and agency.

The consumer could book next refill anytime after 21 days of issuing.

The Minister said the online system would put an end to the friction between the consumers and dealers.

Now, every step of gas booking and delivery would be transparent.

The Collector said the new system would help both consumers and dealers as the latter could now easily convince the companies by projecting the actual demand.

Telugu software

The Minister appreciated the team led by Joint Collector which designed the online booking project.

The officials planned to employ Telugu software soon to take it closer to the public. Technical Director Rajasekhar was also present.
