HYDERABAD: Thirty scholars from India and abroad will attend a seminar on `Relevance of traditional knowledge and wisdom in contemporary tribal society' beginning here on Monday under the aegis of the Department of Anthropology, Hyderabad Central University.

The two-day seminar is being organised in collaboration with Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Bhopal, and the Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs. Roy Ellen, Professor of Anthropology and Human Ecology, University of Kent at Canterbury, UK, will deliver the keynote address on Monday.

Various theoretical and methodological issues pertaining to traditional knowledge will be discussed, according to seminar convener K.K. Misra.
