KURNOOL: The High Court stayed the talent test proposed to be conducted by Bhashyam Educational Institutions following a writ petition filed by Andhra Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Managements' Association and AP Tutorials and Convents Association. The court also directed the officials of school education to prevent such events.

Talking to Reporters here on Saturday, President of the Association V. Janardhan Reddy and Joint Secretary V. Krishna Murthy said the talent tests were conducted by corporate schools to identify brilliant students of other schools and collect their addresses. After the examination, the sponsors of the talent tests approached the brilliant students and admitted them to their schools by offering concessions.

The talent tests were used as bait to collect the cream from all institutions and cause the downfall of other schools run by unemployed people. The ranks were used for publicity to gather more students. The Association leaders decided to meet the officials and take their help to stop conducting of talent tests.
