Thin attendance at cultural programmes

KARIMNAGAR: Sudden rain in the town dampened the spirits of the closing ceremony of the centenary celebrations of Karimnagar town on Sunday night.

Though the district authorities made elaborate arrangements for the success of the event by organising several cultural and musical programmes on Sunday evening, but the rain shattered their dreams. Since evening, the rain forced several people to remain indoors. There was thin attendance at the colourful evening.
