Animation film on `Warrior Twins' soon

HYDERABAD: After the success of animation film Hanuman, the launch of yet another mythological animation film - Lava Kusa - based on Ramayana was announced here on Friday, on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami.

The pre-production work of Lava Kusa, the Warrior Twins had commenced eight months ago and the 90-minute 2D feature film is scheduled to be released nation-wide by next summer. About 300 animators would work on the film being produced by Kanipakam Creations in association with city-based RVML Animation Studios in three languages, English, Hindi and Telugu, at a cost of $5 million, said producer R.V.Sashank of Kanipakam Creations.

Creative head of Lava Kusa project Venu said that the Lava Kusa theme was being given a new dimension with the help lyricist Veturi Sundara Ramamurthy and renowned musician L. Vaidyanathan.
