Hyderabad-based firm recruits 150 pharmacy students
GUNTUR: Some 150 students of B. Pharmacy and D. Pharmacy from various colleges got placements at the job fair organised at the Hindu College of Pharmacy recently in Guntur.
The initiative was taken by the college management with principal Ch. Babu Rao coordinating the event. The job fair was conducted by Optival Health Solutions, Hyderabad and its Human Resources Manager Venkat Rao declared the results.
The Hindu College Chairman Mannava Radha Krishna Murthy said that the Optival Health Solutions Pvt.Ltd. had a national pharmacy chain with headquarters at Hyderabad, seeking to establish pharmacy and information centres at various places in the State to be extended countrywide in future.
The job fair was conducted in most conducive atmosphere at the Hindu College of Pharmacy where students from Sri Venkateswara College of Pharmacy, Viswabharathi College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, M.L College of Pharmacy, Government Polytechnic Warangal, Government Polytechnic Vijayawada, Krishnaveni College of Pharmacy, and Nirmala College of Pharmacy participated in the counselling. About 95 students of Hindu College of Pharmacy and 20 from the various other colleges got selected.
