Sequel to thorough scrutiny by officials

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) released layout plans (LPs) to as many as 16 private layouts in the month of July this year.

According to the Vice-Chairman of VUDA G. Venkatram Reddy, these private LPs were released after a thorough scrutiny of applications and field inspections by him as well as other officials.

The statutory permission had been granted to the layouts with duly confirming development as per the established norms, he added.

The following is the list of the 16 private layouts which were approved by VUDA within the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region (VMR):

S. Udaysridhar Reddy's LP in survey no. 52/4 of Kummaripalem consisting 48 plots; K. Kutumbarao of Sangameswara Estate and Developers - 175/3 of Madhurawada, 18 plots; Sri Janachaitanya Housing Ltd., 57p, 58p, 59p of Pendurthi, 89 plots; Satya Kalyani Construction, 58p, 60p of Tallavalasa, 110 plots; RK Township, 299 of E-Bonangi, 267 plots; VUDA and Godavari Township Pvt. Ltd., 139p and 143p of Gandigudam, 137 plots; Sukhibhava Real Estate, 139/2 and 3, 145/3, 145/6-11, 145/18-20 and 145/24 of Sangivalasa, 120 plots, 3p, 4p, 5p, 9p, and 28p of Kummaripalem, 179 plots, and 17p and 18p of Kummaripalem, 21 plots; J. Vishnumurthy, 112p of Paradesipalem, 17 plots; Chelukuri Srinivas and others, 81 and 83 of Paradesipalem, 134 plots; A. Manmohan alias ASR Krishna, 3p, 13/1p, 141 of Mulakuddu, 87 plots; SVR Townships, 21/12p, 12/1p, 12/2p of Chepaluppada, 41 plots, 99/1 of Peddipalem, 16 plots; and N. Sushma and others (regularization of plots), 144p of Madhurawada, six plots.

Public cautioned

Meanwhile, unauthorised layouts were identified in survey numbers 226, 228, 229, 292 and 296 of Kanithi village being developed by Janachaitanya Housing Scheme, 144 and 15 of Iruwada village in Sabbavaram mandal and in 47p, 48p and 27p of Jaggarajupeta of Gajuwaka mandal, Mr. Reddy said, and cautioned the public not to take up any transaction in these layouts since they were not approved.
