Free consultation offered for the poor for one hour four days a week

  • It is Mythri's second hospital in city
  • A discount of 20 p.c. for the poor on tests

    HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy on Friday inaugurated the Mythri Multi-Special Hospital at Chandanagar on city outskirts. Managing Director of the hospital Prakash B. Vegunta said the new facility would run free consultation clinics for one hour on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for the poor. Dr. Prakashsaid this was the second hospital of the group after the facility at Ameerpet was set up in 1998. He said it would focus on the poor for whom there would be a discount of 20 per cent on tests, apart from free consultation.

    The free consultation would be from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. On Mondays it would be for gastroenterology, Tuesdays (blood pressure and sugar-related illness), Wednesdays (paediatric) and on Thursdays (gynaecology).
