2,545 slides from 300 photographers received for the show
VISAKHAPATNAM: The fourth circuit exhibition being organised by the Visakha Camera Club (VCC) will be held at Hotel Dolphin, here on Saturday and Sunday.
As many as 2,545 slides from about 300 photographers from 23 countries all over the world, including India, were received for this year's exhibition which is the fourth successive one to be hosted by VCC.
Well-known photographers S.V.S. Ravi Kumar, C. Kishenchand and B. K. Agarwal went through all the entries for two days and selected 504 slides including 85 award-winning entries for exhibition during the two days.
The exhibition will have five sections: pictorial (portraits, landscapes, still life, humour, experimental, abstracts, action etc.) nature, wildlife, photojournalism and travel.
"The expo offers an excellent opportunity to beginners and advanced photographers of the city to see the works of the best lensmen from around the world and to know the changing trends in the field," Salon Chairman, VCC, B.K. Agarwal told a media conference on Friday.
A running commentary by Ranjita and Anand will enhance the interest of viewers in the slide show.
Police Commissioner V.S.K. Kaumudi will inaugurate the expo at Hotel Dolphin on Saturday. There is no entry fee.
