Computer operators trained in uploading the election results

SANGAREDDY: District Election Officer and Collector Peeyush Kumar on Sunday directed the returning officers and assistant returning officers to take all precautions for counting of votes as well as uploading them to the internet round- wise. Computer operators were trained in uploading the election results.

The Collector examined the arrangements for counting at the new Collectorate premises, DRDA office and Tara Degree College. He participated in the mock counting.Referring to the power problem, Mr. Peeyush Kumar instructed superintendent engineer (power) Nagender to ensure power supply without fail till the counting was completed.

Adilabad Staff Reporter adds: Mock counting of votes for the Adilabad Parliamentary constituency was conducted at the three counting centres here on Sunday that was attended by Returning Officer of the Assembly constituencies and Collector and District Election Officer Ahmad Nadeem. Other officials related with counting of votes will be trained in that aspect in two sessions to be held on May 7 and 11.

Nizamabad Staff Reporter adds: Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers of Assembly constituencies on Sunday conducted mock counting of votes with the aid of computers at Nirmala Hriday High School and Government Polytechnic College for Boys, here on Sunday.

The Collector and Returning Officer for Parliamentary constituency B. Ramanjaneyulu and the Joint Collector and Returning Officer for Nizamabad (Urban) Assembly constituency M. Jagannatham and Revenue Divisional Officer N. Narsinga Rao, DRO Ashok Kumar were present.
