Presiding over anti-ragging committee meeting held at the Zilla Parishad, Mr. Sashidhar said that revenue divisional officers and principals of the colleges should create awareness among the students over the implications of ragging and the adverse impact on the future of the students. He also suggested colleges to take an undertaking in writing from the students that they would not resort to ragging. A meeting should be held in the colleges in the next 15 days with the students to explain about the Anti-ragging Act.
