VIZIANAGARAM: District Collector B. Kishore has asked bankers to release the sanctioned additional amount of Rs. 30,000 per unit under Indiramma housing programme in Vizianagaram municipality.

Addressing bankers at the Collectorate on Thursday, Dr. Kishore said 1,556 beneficiaries were identified in the second phase in the town and they be sanctioned an additional amount of Rs. 30,000 as per the government guidelines for completion of houses by March next year.

He said Syndicate Bank, Bank of Baroda, State Bank of India, Central Bank of India and Vijaya Bank would share the wards and enter into a tie-up with the beneficiaries. Representatives of the banks and officials were present.
