HYDERABAD: The Lok Satta Party, the political arm of Lok Satta movement for reforms in governance, is contemplating to evolve an institutionalised mechanism for exposing corruption at higher places.
The party is proposing to set up an independent panel of experts to study the complaints of corrupt practices and also ascertain the facts of the complaints.
This would be followed by public hearings wherein the complainants as well as the accused would be given an opportunity to air their views. Lok Satta Party national coordinator Jayaprakash Narayan told reporters here on Tuesday that modalities were being worked out to set up the mechanism to tackle corruption and the party was likely to announce concrete action in this direction on December 9, coinciding with international anti-corruption day.
The party would organise a rally and public meeting on that day and felicitate two politicians with impeccable track record.
