Tourists will visit Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand

HYDERABAD: The India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) in a joint programme with Usha Tourism will take up a ‘New Year hungama’ scheme from December 27 to January 3 carrying tourists to Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. The trip costs Rs. 52,999 including fare, visa and food charges. The chartered flights to be hired by Usha Airlines Pvt. Ltd would take off from Hyderabad on December 27 and 28, D. Sanjeeva Reddy, ITDC chief operating officer, told a press conference here on Wednesday.

The return journey would be from Kuala Lumpur on January 2 and 3.

He claimed that the programme was ‘unique’ designed to cover areas like business, education, culture, entertainment and shopping. It would help visitors plan and expand their business at international level. The trip would benefit students in getting to know cross-country culture.

Ravikanth, ITDA director, and Kala Dacha, Hyderabad manager, were also present.
