HYDERABAD: The AP State Contract Paramedical and Health Employees’ Association has called off its indefinite hunger strike to press its demands for extension of PRC scales to male health assistants and regularisation of those working for ten years.

N. Ashok, president, in a statement here on Sunday said the indefinite fast has been called off following an assurance by Health Minister S. Chandrasekhar to the association that the G.O. on pay scales would be issued by the State Government on Wednesday.
