HYDERABAD: The Ranga Reddy region of APSRTC has made arrangements to pick up passengers from at least a dozen more points across the twin cities, apart from the regular ones, over three days from Nov. 7.

Regional Manager K.S. Nagaraja Rao said that 630 special buses were pressed into service to handle the Diwali rush of travellers to and from different points in the State and a few other destinations too. Giving the break-up, he said that on Nov. 7, 225 special buses would be used and on November 8, it would 340. On Nov. 9, there would be 65 specials. Mr. Rao said that apart from being used as special pick-up points, travellers could also book their tickets with the authorised ticket booking (ATB) agents.
