KHAMMAM: The State-level conference of Jana Vignana Vedika, which concluded here on Sunday strongly opposed the move to involve the corporate organisations in the management of the rural residential public schools which the government had proposed to set up in every Assembly constituency by giving 30 to 50 acres to them on long lease.

Adopting a resolution to this effect, the JVV leadership wanted the Government to run on its own the new schools by pumping in more money.

The organisation demanded the Government to nullify the agreements reached with the corporates. The move would spell the doom for existing institutions especially the Government high schools.
