HYDERABAD: Chief Minister K. Rosaiah has exhorted non-government organisations to cooperate with the State government by educating and creating awareness among people about various aspects of swine flu.
The Chief Minister appealed to the people not to get panicky over the situation asserting that the government was taking every measure to deal with the influenza. More beds were being set apart and more ventilators were being added to the government hospitals, while private hospitals were requested not to drive away patients. More diagnostic centres had been opened and doctors were asked to give proper prescriptions.
People, however, were advised not to consume medicine without proper prescription from the doctors as it was associated with side effects.
