MAHABUBNAGAR: Chairman, A. P. Legislative Assembly House Committee on Sarva Siksha Abhiyan programme, Nadendla Manohar said that to provide universal education to all the poor students the S.S.A programme is being implemented.

Speaking to the press persons here on Thursday after visiting several schools, the Chairman said that to improve the midday meals programme additional funds would be released to the district after discussion with Chief Minister. He said that sever action would be initated against officials who committed irregularities under S.S.A.


While reviving the implementation of S.S.A with the district officials the chairman instructed the officials to complete all civil works taken up under S.S.A within 2 months. He also directed the officials to provide drinking water and toilets in all Indiramma schools . He asked the officials to implement the S.S.A programme with transparency . District collector, V.Usharani explained about the literacy rate, the results and civil works taken up under S.S.A.
