HYDERABAD: As the Congress leaders from across the State started flocking Idupulapaya Estate expressing solidarity with Kadapa MP Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy, the latter made it clear that everybody has to abide by the party high command’s decision.
Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy, who reached Idupulapaya Estate on a four-day visit on Sunday, interacted with several Congress leaders. Sources said Mr. Jagan exuded confidence that AICC president Sonia Gandhi would take the right decision when party MLAs from Visakhapatnam district led by Tribal Welfare Minister P. Balaraju and former Minister Konathala Ramakrishna called on him.
Responding to their demand, he reportedly said every one had to look at the high command with all sincerity and await a decision from the AICC president.
Party MLAs -- Dronamraju Srinivas, T. Vijaya Kumar, M.Vijaya Prasad, U. Venkatramana Raju, G. Babu Rao and Mutyala Papa met Mr. Jagan. They were accompanied by Visakhapatnam Mayor Pulusu Janardhan, Deputy Mayor Dora Babu and others. Congress leaders, who accompanied him from Hyderabad, maintained that several telephone calls were made to Idupulapaya from various parts of the State by cadre wanting to visit the Estate to pay their homage to YSR.
