TIRUPATI: The pontiff of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, Sri Jayendra Saraswathi, will be taking part in the convention on protection of Hindu Dharma at Geethanjali school premises in Khadi colony here on Friday.

According to the organisers, the meet on `Hindu Dharma Rakshana' seeks to find ways to preserve the `Hindu Dharma' that transcends the boundaries of the religion and reflects the very Indian culture. The meet will also lay emphasis on propagating the tenets of `unity in diversity' hidden in the Hindu scriptures.

The meet is also part of the Kanchi seer's spiritual sojourns taken across the country to spread Bhakti cult by building temples and Vedic schools. The seer will deliver the introductory discourse at the meet.

The BJP's frontal units will also be playing a key role in the conduct of the event as the State president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha G. Bhanuprakash Reddy, and other Parivar leaders are among those taking part in the deliberations.
