Superintendent of Police inaugurates water plant
Kakinada: The Superintendent of Police Battini Srinivasulu has inaugurated the mineral water plant at the AR quarters here on Tuesday.
Addressing the police personnel on the occasion, he said, the Rs.6 lakh required for the mineral water plant was provided by the State police office and also the district police welfare fund.
He said the mineral water would be supplied to the police personnel and their families.
He said efforts were also being made to extend the mineral water facility to the police and also the CRPF personnel working in the agency area.
As part of the welfare measures, he said, they had proposed to start a computer centre at the AR quarters here soon.

He has advised the police personnel and their families to make best use of the hospital and the tailoring centre in the AR quarters.
Additional Superintendent of Police P Ranga Nath, who presided, requested the Superintendent of Police to sanction funds from the police welfare fund for taking up repairs to the AR quarters some of which are in a bad shape. Armed reserve DSP Harinarayana, District police officers' association president G.Balarama Murthy, town law and order circle Inspector Balla Lakshminarayana attended.
