`All our belongings are covered in soot being generated by factory'

NALGONDA: Vexed with the alleged nonchalant attitude of the administration, villagers of Pittampally in Chityal mandal have approached the visiting Parliamentary Standing Committee on Rural Development and filed a complaint against a sponge iron unit causing pollution.

"Ashirwad factory is wreaking havoc in our lives. All our belongings, clothes and trees are covered in soot being generated by the factory. No one is taking our complaint seriously," a youngster told the eight-member delegation.
