HYDERABAD: The prescribed applications for the 1,293 posts of stipendary cadet trainee (STC) Sub-Inspectors of police (civil, armed reserve and APSP) men in the Police Department can be obtained from any commissionerate or district police office on payment of Rs.10 from February 16 to March 13.

The candidates should submit the applications along with copies of the necessary certificates at any of the commissionerates or district police offices between February 25 and March 13, the AP State-level Police Recruitment Board announced here on Tuesday.


It said the G.O. 3 (Backward Classes Welfare), dated April 4, 2006, laying down the criteria to determine the creamy layer among Other Backward Classes in order to exclude them from the provision of reservations, has been placed on www.apstatepolice.org.

The board also notified that the applications for 16,792 posts of various categories of constables (civil, armed reserve, SAR CPL, APSP, SPF, fire and emergency services, prisons and correctional services) would be available on payment of Rs.10 from February 2 to 28.

The filled applications should be submitted along with certificates between February 16 and 28.

The Board said in a press release that the rule of reservations provided to various categories, including BCs, would be strictly followed.
