KAVALI (NELLORE): Vikrama Simhapuri University registrar Prof. V.Narayana on Tuesday inaugurated a two-day seminar on `Rural development: The role of government and the private sector’ at Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) Post Graduate Centre in the town.

The programme was sponsored by Department of Economics and University Grants Commission.

Speaking on the occasion, the registrar explained the role of educated youth in developing rural and underdeveloped areas.

The registrar asked the students to set up industries in villages.

This will stop migration and solve unemployment problem in rural areas, he said.
