HYDERABAD: The A.V. College of Arts, Science and Commerce is organising a series of events this month as part of 119th birth anniversary of Konda Venkata Ranga Reddy, former Deputy Chief Minister and the founder president of the college.

Speaking to presspersons here on Thursday, principal of K.V.R.R. Law College S. Shamshuddin said that a small school which was started by Mr. Ranga Reddy at Kattelamandi in 1968 has grown into a huge institution which is now catering the educational needs of 4,000-odd students. The college also invited applications for admission into various certificate courses and MCA, which will be conducted in collaboration with IGNOUand Common Proficiency Test of Charted Accountant course.
