Bhimavaram: Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women here conducted workshop for five days from December 2 to 6 on the college premises.

The main aim of the workshop is to hone the skills of the students of the college.

The workshop was organised by associate professor N. Bhoopal, in-charge, R&D, Vector campus, Narsapur, and asst. professor G. Venu Madhav, EEE Department, Vector campus, Narsapur, and student in-charge P. Madhu Sudhana Rao, Anil Kumar, Prasanna Kumar, Mouna in coordination with Sasi Infotech Embedded Engineers Jagadeesh and Tagore.

The college management also organised â ‘mini Robo fest’ to test the talent of the students at Shri Vishnu Engineering College for women. It event covers programmes like ‘Robo rally’, ‘Robo wrestling’ ‘Soccer Robot’ and ‘Transporter’. The students were divided into eight teams and of them, five teams designed ‘wired Robots’ and the other three teams designed Robots using the latest technology.

This fest was inaugurated by K.V. Vishnu Raju, Chairman, Sri Vishnu Educational Society. It was attended by D.R. Raju, director of the college, D. Suryanarayana, principal, Vishnu Institute of Technology, R.V. Subhrahmanyam, principal, Vishnu Dental College, and P. Venkata Rao, principal, B.V. Raju Institute of Computer Education and others.
