Hyderabad: The Indian Air Force has selected 100 candidates, hailing from various parts of the State, for enrolment as ‘airmen’ at Airmen Selection Centre in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The candidates were shortlisted in a recruitment rally that was held at Khammam in October last year.

Speaking at a press conference, Wing Commander K.K. Sharma said that the recruits will be sent for a 12-week Basic Phase Training at Airmen Training School at Belgaum and there after will undergo specialised training according to their trades -- in both technical and non-technical.
