Doctors of 1983 batch recall their college days
GUNTUR: Several students of the Guntur Medical College 1983 batch, now settled in various countries, refreshed their experiences at the institution during their college days here on Friday.
The students came all the way from far off places along with their family members to meet their classmates and celebrate the silver jubilee of their passing out from the college that provided them the status that they were enjoying in society. While enjoying some sweet memories, they made it a point to invite all the teachers during their time and honour all of them along with those who were holding the forte currently.
At the GMCANA Auditorium it was fun and frolic with an occasional tear of joy for successful doctors when they honoured their teachers and thanked the present principal A. Venkata Rao and GGH Superintendent D. Phanibhushan for making the occasion memorable for them. Alumni association president K. Ravindra and convener P.S. Babu Reddy organised the event in which several of the veteran teachers took interest in remembering the institution they served long ago.
