HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Rythu Sangham has demanded that the government come out with a white paper on allotment of land for special economic zones in different parts of the State, the coastal region in particular.

Expressing concern over the government’s plans to develop industrial corridor in the coastal areas by acquiring vast tracts of lands from farmers, the CPI-affiliated Sangham said on Wednesday that its leaders and activists would hold demonstrations in front of the Collectorates of nine coastal districts on August 7 to protest against the coastal corridor project.
