TDP to release another ‘chargesheet’ on ’misdeeds’ of Government
Tuni: Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Chairman and TDP senior leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Monday demanded Yellampalli project’s key documents, in which large scale corruption is alleged.
Speaking to reporters, he alleged that there was misappropriation of funds and Rs.400 crores were swindled in Yellampalli project. He said Lok Ayukta, CAG and Vigilance Commission already established that there was a large-scale corruption in the project.
He said the PAC would write to the Chief Secretary, demanding project’s key documents.
He said that if they don’t get any response from the Chief Secretary, the TDP MLAs in Assembly will demand for key documents in next session of Assembly.
He recalled that Finance Minister K. Rosaiah had promised during last session of Assembly that they would present the documents within 45 days, but he failed to keep the promise.
He said the TDP would release another chargesheet on misdeeds of the government during ‘Punarankita Sabha’ to be held shortly. He alleged that the Congress Government had diverted funds meant for BC, SC and ST welfare.
He also alleged that SC hostels were neglected and Roshini scheme introduced by the TDP government for the benefit of Muslims was abandoned. He said there would be no use if G.O.s were passed to give Muslim Reservations and the State Government should bring an act to this effect.
Denouncing the allegations made by MP Vundavalli Arunakumar on Chandrababu Naidu’s book, Yanamala said that it was written in the context of situation that was prevailed at that time.
