VIZIANAGARAM: The Lok Satta Party has demanded a clear stand of the Telugu Desam party on bifurcation of the State as its party leaders had been speaking in different tones at various forums.
The State LSP vice-president B. A. Babji told a press conference here on Tuesday that while K. Yerran Naidu, TDP Polit Bureau member, made it clear at a press conference here on Monday that the party stuck to its stand on unified Andhra Pradesh, TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu, at the same time, at TDLP meeting with leaders from Telangana in Hyderabad reportedly asked them to educate people that decks for Telangana was cleared only because of its change in stand on the statehood issue.
The conflicting statements of TDP leaders had been creating confusion, he said and demanded the TDP president to suggest a solution to end the crisis. Both Congress and the main Opposition party in the Assembly had been misleading people, he felt.
He demanded resignation of K. Yerran Naidu and other TDP leaders in North Andhra districts from the party and question Mr. Chandrababu Naidu for his double-talk. The party leaders L. Siva Rama Rao, I. Ananta Lakshmi, P. Srinivasa Raju and others were present.
