VISAKHAPATNAM: Squadron leader Jayasimha, a native of Nalgonda and former employee of Indian Air Force, on Sunday attempted to achieve a hat-trick by entering the Guinness Book World Records by memorizing maximum number of birthdays.

He successfully recalled the names and birthdays of 20 persons at random accurately at a function conducted by Lions Club here on Sunday in the presence of Somaraju of Gayathri College, former Chairman of Bar Council of India D.V. Subba Rao, SBI AGM K.S.N. Murthy and others. He gained an entry in Guinness Book in 2005 by memorising 200 random objects and later in 2007 by giving a lecture for 120 hours non-stop on personality concepts, according to Bala Murali, one of the organisers.

The event was conducted under the aegis of Lions Club Visakhapatnam Samarasya.
