DishTV, a company offering direct-to-home service, has announced a special offer for TV viewers in Vijayawada and Guntur. Funds for Government
Rs. 20 lakhs would be granted from the district administration funds for completing the new Government Ayurvedic College buildings to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 63 lakhs, district Collector Navin Mittal said. The Collector reviewed the progress in construction of the building. The Central Government released Rs. 50 lakhs only for the building.
The Regional Sericulture Research Centre, Anantapur, will conduct a sericulture convention at Hanuman Junction near here on January 24. Central Silk Council chairman H. Hanumanthappa will participate in the convention.
