Groundnut oil-48.50, Palmolein oil-39, Sunflower oil-49, Tamarind (flower variety) 21 to 28, Chillies (refrigerated)-25 to 30, Chillies (non-refrigerated)-10 to 15, Rice (2716)-13, Rice (superfine)-15, Rice (sona masoori)-16 to 17, Rice (samba masoori)-15 to 17, Black gram-35.50, Red gram-21.50 to 28.50.
Vijayakrishna Super Bazaar open all days
All branches of Vijayakrishna Super Bazaar will be kept open on all the seven days in a week from January 1 onwards. The Bazaar will observe the holidays listed by the Labour department. Special counters opened by the Bazaar at Rythu Bazaars will follow the holiday schedule of the Rythu Bazaars. As New Year's Day gift, the super bazaar will present a jute bag to customers who have purchased commodities worth Rs. 1,000 and above.
Steel plates, tumblers distributed
Members of the Vijayawada urban district Arya Vysya Mahila Sangham on Saturday distributed steel plates and tumblers to students of Gayatri Public School in Krishnalanka. Sewing machines were distributed to five women. A dental camp was conducted at Arya Vysya Kalyana Mandapam in Metla Bazaar.
