East Coast cancelled

Train no. 8645 Howrah-Hyderabad East Coast express scheduled to leave Howrah on Friday was cancelled due to Bengal Bandh called by the Trinamool Congress.

Also, 2703 Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma Express scheduled to leave Howrah at 7.20 a.m. was rescheduled to leave at 6.30 p.m. while 2841 Coromandel Express scheduled to leave at 2.50 p.m. was rescheduled to leave at 8.30 p.m. on the day due to the bandh, according to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair Division of East Coast Railway K.C. Pradhan.

Mosque inauguration

Head of the world-wide Dawoodi Bohra community Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb will arrive by a chartered flight to the city from Bangalore on Sunday at 1 p.m. to inaugurate a mosque at Yendada village, according to spokesmen of Anjuman-E-Badri Jafar Masalia (9849112521) and Quriesh Raghib (9912443166).

Disruption in

power supply

Exam date changed
