The Osmania University has constituted a committee of senior teachers to look into the allegations levelled against Mohd. Ansari, Assistant Professor of the University. The committee convenor P.L. Vishweshwar Raotold The Hindu that they had a preliminary meeting and decided to call all the groups involved in the issue and take their views.

Street plays on welfare schemes
The District Administration has prepared an action plan to conduct street plays in 13 Assembly constituencies of the city from March 1 to 12 highlighting the various welfare and development schemes being adopted by the Government.
Borrowers of the Bhagyanagar Cooperative Urban Bank, Hyderabad and the Vijaya Cooperative Urban Bank have been informed that the Registrar of Cooperative Societies has permitted a one-time settlement scheme of the loan accounts for the period up to March 31, 2007. Accordingly, borrowers have to clear their dues within the above mentioned time, failing which the dues will be recovered with up-to-date interest by initiating legal action against them, according to a bank release.
