Collector holds a review meeting on health scheme
He asks officials to be alert in view of depression
Srikakulam: District Collector Nagulapalle Srikanth has asked medical personnel to give timely treatment to patients of ‘Arogya Sri’ scheme.
Participating in a review meeting here on Saturday Mr. Srikanth spoke on the need to improve state of the art facilities in government and private hospitals where the Arogya Sri treatment is being extended.
The Collector asked all Arogya Sri network hospitals to give timely treatment to patients, who come for emergency relief.
He assured to facilitate Arogya Sri treatment to those card holders, who were not allotted identification numbers.
The Collector also asked the general public to be vigilant on incidence of swine flu and report the same to health and medical personnel.
Meanwhile, the district Collector asked the officials concerned to remain in a state of alert in view of forecast of heavy rains and depression in the Bay of Bengal off Orissa coast.
