The stage is all-set for the week-long Army recruitment rally, which will be held at the sprawling Ambedkar Stadium grounds in Karimnagar from the early hours of Friday, to select candidates from Telangana region for the recruitment of various posts in the Army.

The Army recruitment rally will be held for the recruitment of soldiers in Technical, Nursing, General Duty, Tradesman, Clerks, Storekeeper, and Technician).

From all districts

The candidates came from the entire Telangana region viz. Karimnagar, Adilabad, Warangal, Nizamabad, Khammam, Medak, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts.

As the recruitment rally begins from 5 a.m. on Friday, candidates have already started arriving from the various parts of Telangana region to Karimnagar town and were inspecting the venue for their participation in the recruitment rally. All hotels and lodges were filled with candidates arriving to participate in the recruitment rally.

Reviewing arrangements

Collector Smita Sabharwal, along with the Army, Revenue and Police officials inspected the Ambedkar stadium and reviewed the arrangements for the smooth conduct of the recruitment rally.

She instructed the Revenue and Education Department officials to arrive at the venue well in advance for the verification of certificates etc.

Police officials were informed to make all arrangements for the smooth conduct of the rally by deploying additional forces to regulate the queue lines and avoid any untoward incidents.
