ADILABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) chief K. Chandrashekhar Rao's newfound camaraderie with ‘Jai Andhra' leaders is being questioned by party ranks in Adilabad district. His decision to go to Andhra region is specifically being criticised by partymen, who seem to be at a loss to see the logic behind it.

The current development in the Telangana protagonist party is being debated hotly within party circles. Interaction among partymen, especially in the eastern coal belt of the district, has increased these days, thanks to the membership drive undertaken by the TRS.

“What possible explanation can Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao give about the accusations he had thrown on Andhra people thus far? I cannot understand what can be achieved by aligning with ‘Jai Andhra' leaders,” said a senior party leader from Mancherial while discussing developments within the party.

Another leader feared that the TRS president would walk into the trap laid by Andhra politicians.
