Andhra Bank Chairman and Managing Director B.A.Prabhakar will inaugurate the “ultra modern, next generation anytime banking centre” on Ring Road here on Wednesday.
Andhra Bank Zonal Manager G.Ravi Kumar, addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, said that the existing Ring Road branch was being shifted to a bigger premises on the same road to provide the best banking services to account holders.
The new branch that would be established in a 4,800 sft area would have four sections.
The e-banking section with the latest backing machines will be open round-the-clock, 365 days a year.
Under the Navsakthi Scheme, latest banking machines that can dispense cash (ATMs), that can accept cash (up to a maximum of 200 notes at a time) and adjust the same into your account immediately and accept cheques and give receipts for them have been installed at the branch in 600 sft, Mr Kumar said.
A self passbook printing kiosk, small coin dispenser (maximum of Rs 50) and an internet banking kiosk have also been provided at the ATM, he said.
The new Ring Road Branch will also have a regular transaction section (in 1,200 sft), a relationship section (in 1,200 sft) and jumbo sized locker room with a capacity of 2,500 lockers (in 1,000 ft).
Andhra Bank IT general manager R.Atmaram will also participate in the inauguration on Wednesday, he said. Vijayawada Zone AGMs V.Venkateswara Reddy and Jeeva Prakash were present.
