With focus on redressing grievances in the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) sector, Andhra Bank heavily banks on the ‘Touch Point' concept with a larger aim of customer retention in the ever-competitive banking industry.
DGM (Tirupati zone) D.V.N. Rao spoke to reporters here on Friday coinciding with the bank's Founder's Day celebrations, when he laid stress on the latest concept. All that an SME customer needs to do is SMS the keyword ‘TOUCHPOINT' to the mobile number 96666 06060.
“On receipt of the SMS, officials from the bank's central hub will call back the customer within ten minutes and take steps to redress his grievances,” Mr. Rao explained. The issue would positively be solved within 24 hours.
On the IT front, the bank expanded its online banking facility to include term deposit accounts and also launched prepaid gift cards with a flexibility to choose the amount of gift.
