A number of programmes lined up to entertain revellers

Venue shifted to SKVT College grounds this year

For students the charge is only Rs. 399

Rajahmundry: Hotel Anand Regency here has planed a number of programmes to welcome New Year in a grand way. Programmes like dazzling shows and rocking dances by Telugu film and TV personalities are lined up to entertain revellers.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, its general manager P. Ramakrishna said that keeping the crowd in view the venue has been shifted from their hotel premises to SKVT College grounds. Mimicry and movie artiste Siva Reddy, Raghu Kunche of ‘Bumper offer’, anchor Vidya Rao, singer Snigdha and rooms division manager of the hotel A.V. Sivaram were present at the press conference.

Special attraction

Mr. Ramakrishna said that there would be sizzling performance by ‘item girl’ Abhinayasri, mimicry by Siva Reddy, melodies from Sumangali, ETV ‘Okkare’ fame Snigdha and Neha, rocking numbers by Rakesh, Dhee-2 finalist Sekhar with their groups would entertain the revellers. It would be followed by special ‘rela dance’ by tribals.

Mr. Raghu said that Rajahmundry being his native place, he wants to give the best performance on 31st night. Mr. Siva Reddy said that he had done limited performances in Rajahmundry and Anand Regency was giving very good opportunity to interact with Godavari district people. Ms. Vidya Rao said that performing in Rajahmundry would be a great opportunity. Ms. Snigdha also spoke.

No liquor

Mr. Ramakrishna made it clear that liquor was not allowed during the celebrations as it would be a family-oriented programme. The charges would be Rs. 900 per couple and Rs. 500 per individual and for a student it would be only Rs.399.

Buffet includes three non-vegetarian and a variety of vegetarian dishes. Winners in competitions would get gifts worth Rs. 1 lakh.
