Several teachers’ unions and students are all set for a day-long Samaikya Samara Bheri, which is scheduled to be conducted on Thursday on the premises of Noble College.

Eastern Krishna district Samaikyandhra JAC members gave a call to the school managements to join their hands by sending their students to the programme, which was likely to start at 2 p.m. with a walkathon with a 160-foot Indian National Flag from Revathi Centre to the venue.

Backed by all the Machilipatnam Joint Action Committees formed for a United Andhra, the organisers eyed on attracting at least a lakh supporters, irrespective of their profession.

“Exclusive sessions with many performances by the students on division of Andhra Pradesh have been planned apart from lectures of the student leaders,” said Krishna District Private Schools’ Teachers’ Association honorary president K. Chandra Sekhar.
